I made a blog! Yay me I will be using this to post my ramblings and adventures because I like sharing things. And I like recording my day. So this is perfect!
I MADE A NEW FRIEND TODAY!!
I was wandering along the dance building because I hadn't been in there before...there's a lot of rooms. I didn't know there were so many dancers who needed classrooms, but I guess they need space so they don't hit each other when they spin and jump and stuff. Sometimes I think I'd like to be a dancer. But how do they turn without getting dizzy? I mean, I know enough dancing to be on Broadway obviously. But we do like two turns max and it's hard to get dizzy that way. Unless you do them over and over again like I tend to do. That's fun!
What was I talking about? OH YEAH MY NEW FRIEND. I was in the dance building and there was a man there. He was taller than me...but come to think of it, most people are. Especially the males. What is it about males that makes them taller than females? I know it probably has something to do with evolution or something scientific like that but seriously. Who thought that being tall would be a genetic advantage? Why can't being short be an advantage? I mean, short people can hide places. And we can get under things other people can't. And...well, that's it.
...where was I? Right, new friend in dance building. Tall. Male. Anyways, he looked a bit lost. And broody. I'm used to seeing broody high schoolers and broody art majors because for some reason a lot of artists think they HAVE to be moody to be pertinent. Again, I don't get it. Maybe because I'm a Broadway fan and most of us are happy and loud and cheerful. But this guy was moody. And he wore dark colors. Which in summer is stifling. No wonder he was broody!
His name was Drake and he teaches something with numbers. He seemed to be offended when I discussed this with him, but oh well. You can't please everyone! And he grew much more pleasant once we got out in the open air.
I'm really excited to get the year started. I've only met a couple of new people so far (like Beth who is AWESOME and I need to write about her next time if I remember because I'm tired) and I want to meet more.
My blog is named "The Irish Banana" because people call me Anna Banana or just Banana. And I'm Irish.
Thank you for reading, viewers! [/blockquote]
