[/u][/url][/size] Nineteen. Freshman. Vocal Performance/Guitar. Shy. Artistic. Emotional. Hopeless Romantic Salem is very emotionally charged person. He'd led by his feelings and they tend to be like an open book spread across his face. He is a hopeless romantic who lives and breathes love, which comes across in his borderline clingy relationships and his lyrics. He is shy and artists, a true introvert. But put Salem up on a stage and give him a microphone and watch that boy strut and shake those narrow hips of his to the beat. He is not a party animal but does have a pack-a-day smoking habit. People tend to assume he's 'emo' because he's very high strung and has a nasty habit of picking as his wrists till they bleed when he is upset or stressed out.[/left]    "I won't lie no more you can bet. Don't wanna learn what I'll need to forget!"BECCA ABIGAIL FAYTHE[/u][/b] Eighteen. Freshman. Theater Major. Dramatic. Unique. Hyper. Slow to trust. Becca seems like she was born for the stage life. She is dramatic almost to the point of being a drama queen on some days. She loves to embellish her stories and uses her hands a lot when she talks. Becca is very confident in her abilities and in her day to day life, though due to some issues as a kid she is slow to trust people. She's not too big on partying but does love going to them. She's a bit of an odd bird in her mannerism and obsessions, even her clothing style is odd. She is very hyper, sometimes becoming a bit of a handful for her professors, and her coffee addiction doesn't help. She is very smart, graduating second to top of her high school class. He's very laid back and easy to get along with, even people who otherwise would hate hippies tend to find him fun to be around. He is funny, a real jokester, and likes to make people laugh. He's an advocate for being yourself, being free, and is open to anyone and everyone. He likes to spend time outside in nature, his head in the clouds, and his bare feet in the grass. FOR SALEM
Joselyn - 19 - sophomore - film studies - She would probably dislike him, but she dislikes everyone so it's not really a change. She's very much like  and thinks she's better than everyone, but she does have a soft spot for people she pities. So she might be like , but she'd probably also be like "wtf why are you so lame. -befriend-" x]. BUT if he got emotional at her, she would ignore him or be snide. Because she is not good at emotions.
Ella - 20 - junior - creative writing - She stalks people and people watches and writes basically everything down in a notebook. She'd probably think he was okay and she would get him to talk if she could. She's very blunt, so if she ever saw anyone like ;-;, she would probably just go up and be like "D: are you okay i notice you look DEPRESSED." Because. Yes. ahahaha
Drake - 27 - statistics & accounting prof - idk. if Salem was in his class, he'd probably think he was dumb. But Drake thinks most of his students are dumb because he didn't want to teach at an arts school xD
Beth - 26 - TA - broadcast journalism/diversity and justice - Idk how they'd meet.
Bianca - 21 - senior - Sigma Alpha Iota president - vocal - She'd try and give him a makeover. So much. But she probably wouldn't actually like him. If anything, she might try and like...sponsor him? If that makes sense? x] Not really mentor, but just try and make him more acceptable. GROOMING HIM FOR HER INCOMING FRESHMEN PLEDGES. Especially since they're the same major.
Jack - 18 - freshman - theater - Jack and Salem are roommates and Jack will make absolutely certain that they are BFFLs because Jack is BFFLs with everyone he meets. He is very loud and obnoxious and cheerful and friendly and will drag Salem to Activities and insist that he be CHEERFUL about things. He would also be his wingman. Because that is just the sort of person Jack is. >>

Ahem. Please excuse the long post!
Emily Welsh; Freshman Dance Major [/i] Salem would scare Emily at first, but they're remarkably alike. Emily is incredibly emotional and a hopeless romantic, but she grew up in a very white collar, straightlaced community and is slightly intimidated by all things different. That and the fact that she is so shy she's terrified of speaking to pretty much anyone. She's very sweet though, and I think she'd be someone Salem could confide in. She's also anxious, so that may be a bit of a problem when the two of them are freaked together lol. Becca would be a good person for Emily, especially in terms of getting her out of her shell. She'd probably find Becca highly amusing during her dramatic moments, but she may also get hurt by those moments if they were directed at her. Emily trusts fairly easily and wouldn't really understand why Becca does not. Interesting combo? Jude would absolutely fascinate Emily because she's never known a hippie before. She would eventually feel extremely comfortable with him, though she'd probably be afraid that he would try to give her drugs or something ridiculous like that lol. Nathaniel Smith; Sophomore Creative Writing Major[/i] Salem would probably annoy Nate. He's quiet and broody but not emotional at all and incredibly pessimistic. He would probably tell Salem to suck it up and get over it and be at him. Often. Becca would probably be along the same lines of Salem, though Nate would alternate between being annoyed by Becca's drama and being highly amused by it. Her hyperactivity would probably scare him away from her. Jude would be interesting. Nate would probably not know what to do with him, and I think it'd be fun to see the two of them interact. Nate wouldn't be too surprised with him, because he came from New York City and has seen a wide variety of lifestyles. Annaleigh Sheppard; TA for Sight Singing, pursuing her Masters in Theater[/i] Anna would try her hardest to cheer up Salem. She'd probably fawn over him and do her best to be cheery and upbeat with him, probably scaring him in the process. But she has good intentions! Becca would become Anna's little project. Anna is bound and determined to be on Broadway and would try to tone Becca's dramatics down juuust a bit, putting it onstage instead. They'd be kind of cute together lol. Anna would probably talk Jude's ear off because she never shuts up like that. But, given his laid-back attitude, I think he'd be one of the few people who wouldn't want her to shut up on a daily basis. She'd adore that if he let her ramble  William Baxter; Professor, Applying Economics to Life[/i] There's not much with Will...he'd think Salem was ridiculous but wouldn't be too mean to him, he'd find Becca hilarious and would egg her on slash play into her drama just to amuse himself, and he would be indifferent to Jude.
