Okay, so Jac. Where to begin? The short version is that she's the slightly insane older sister of Drake and Olivia. To her, life is all about having fun, because if you're not having a good time, what's the point? She's kind of a paradox of herself at times; she can be relaxed but bursting with energy at the same time. To be honest, it's usually pretty hard to keep up with her, but you can try...
Social Butterfly To say that Jac is a people person would be an understatement. She's very outgoing and loves meeting new people, hanging out with old friends, and socializing with just about anyone who will give her the time of day. She loves being the center of attention and will do just about anything to keep it that way. You always know where you stand with her because she wears her heart on her sleeve. Not that you have to worry about making her mad; she hardly ever gets angry. When she does though, watch out. She can be quite nasty if you do happen to get on her bad side.
Independent When it comes to love, Jac has a...unique philosophy. Actually, it isn't a philosophy at all, more of an "I-am-woman-hear-me-roar" kind of thing. She doesn't do relationships at all. She hates the thought of being tied to one person forever, and opts for a more love 'em and leave 'em approach. It's not that she doesn't believe in the concept of love, she just doesn't think it's for her. Why stay with one person when you can have as many as you want? She looks at it as a game, which doesn't always end well. In fact, it hardly ever ends well. This can be attributed to the fact that she hardly ever thinks before she acts.
The Older Sister Though she lacks the all-important responsibility trait, Jac tries her best to always be there for her siblings. She loves them more than anyone else in the world and will do anything for them. Jac thinks that Drake and Olivia always need her help--they just don't always know that they need it. She meddles in their lives constantly--especially poor Drake's. But she does mean well and anything she does it out of love. Usually.
Strengths:
Advice If you happen to catch Jac in a rare moment where she's feeling like actually acting her own age, she can be a good listener. She also gives prety good advice, though normally you have to sift through her jokes and jabs to figure out what it actually is.
Loyalty If Jac is your friend, she's your friend until you do something to completely ruin the relationship. She's the kind of person who will always stand up for the people she cares about no matter what, even if she knows that you are completely wrong. (Though you will hear about how wrong you were at a later date.)
Weaknesses:
Trust Though she's a very outgoing person, Jac doesn't trust others easily. She likes to have the upper hand in any situation, which can be a problem in her everyday relationships. She hates being vulnerable because it leaves the door open to get hurt. There are very few people she tells everything to; in fact, no one person knows every little nuance and detail about her.
Silliness Jac is a very easygoing person, but she can't be serious to save her life. This is an issue, seeing as she's a 29 year old data processor. (Those types tend to be v. serious, you know.) Sometimes it can be frustrating for the people who try to confide in her because it seems like she's taking their problems too lightly. This isn't the case; she does care about other people's problems. She just can't be serious enough to actually show it.

Jac is the first child of Elliot Roy and Melanie Newton Roy, making her the oldest of the three siblings. For the first two years of her life, she had all of the attention from her parents that she wanted, and was given anything her little two-year old heart desired. Then Drake came along, and everything changed. Her parents started spending time feeding him and playing with him instead of paying attention to her. How dare he take all of their attention away from her? Needless to say, Jac had a little trouble adjusting to life with this extra person in it. She started acting out to get more attention from her parents, who simply chalked it up to a case of the "terrible twos."
This need for attention surpassed the terrible two stage and followed her right into preschool, where she was the first four year old who was ever sent to the principal's office. Was it her fault that little Timmy believed her when she told him that that wasn't their teacher's real hair? It wasn't her fault he tried to find out for himself. And it definitely wasn't her fault that it actually was a wig. Oops.
It was also at this young age that she started realizing that boys could be manipulated to do whatever she asked. One day, when she was in kindergarten, she saw that one of the boys in her class was eating some candy the teacher had given him. She wanted some, but he wouldn't share with her! She kept pestering him, but he refused. Then she remembered something. Mommy and daddy kissed a lot. And daddy seemed to like it when that happened. She was almost positive that one time daddy had even cooked dinner to surprise mommy and mommy had rewarded him with a kiss. Well, that was obviously the way to get this candy. It worked, and she got her candy. She also became the first kindergartener ever sent to the principal for public displays of affection during school. You win some, you lose some.
Of course she got a talking to for that one, and was told that if she ever did anything like that again, she wouldn’t be allowed to have chocolate ever again. As it is common knowledge that chocolate is one of the five best things in the world, not being allowed to have chocolate would obviously be a disaster, and that couldn’t happen. So, she settled for just being normal friends with the boys in her class. For the time being, anyway.
She calmed down a little and life just went on until middle school. Seventh grade, to be exact. This was the year Jac got her first boyfriend. The one who started it all. His name was Ben. Ben was one of those guys who just seemed to know everyone. He was also popular with the girls in her class, so Jac hadn’t paid him much attention. One day, when she was on her way to class, he stopped her in the hallway. Long story short, he asked her out, they dated for a few months, and became inseperable. Before long, she was having feelings she had never felt before. She was too embarrassed to mention them to anyone because she didn’t want to sound silly. Then it happened.
Jac was in love, and she knew she was in love. She wanted to tell Ben, but she didn’t know how or even when to tell him. All she knew was that it had to be perfect. Ben’s parents went out of town frequently, and often left him alone with his older brother. It was one such weekend, when Jac was over at Ben’s house, that his brother decided to spend the night at his girlfriend’s. This was the sign Jac had been waiting for. A big, lit up sign, with blinking lights, like the ones outside of Broadway shows. She would tell Ben tonight. Over the past few weeks, she had been planning out in her head exactly how it was supposed to happen. She knew she was ready to do…it, and she knew she wanted Ben to be her first. She would tell him she loved him, he would reciprocate, and they would consummate their newfound love. That wasn’t exactly what went down.
They were sitting on the couch watching a movie, when things started happening. At first it was just kissing, but as things progressed, neither one felt the need to stop it. This was a little out of order of the way Jac had originally planned, but she was a go with the flow kind of person. Besides, it would be much more awkward to stop now. And so they did the deed and were lying on the floor cuddled next to each other. The conversation went something like this…
“Ben?”
“Yeah?”
“I have something to tell you…”
“I have something to tell you too…”
“Okay, you can go first.”
“No, you.”
“No, you go.”
There was a long pause, as each waited for the other to speak. Then, at the exact same time…
“I love you.” “I think I’m gay.”
“What??”
After Ben, it was hard for Jac to move on. She became somewhat closed off to love and relationships, vowing to never let herself be hurt like that again. As she got older and entered high school, she never got over what had happened. To love someone so fully and to give yourself to that person completely and then have it all ripped away…it was a pain she wouldn’t wish on her worst enemy. She opted for random flings, always making sure she had the upper hand. She would rather leave before anything too deep happened than risk having her heart broken again.
When she graduated high school, Jac went to college for a year, where she really got into the party scene. Her grades started to suffer, and at the end of the year, she decided she had had enough of school for a lifetime, opting to stay home instead. Her parents mandated that she get a job, which Jac wasn’t exactly thrilled about. This changed when she found out she could become a bartender at 18, and quickly found a job at a bar close to home. Soon she moved out of the house and was perfectly happy on her own. Then one day Drake randomly decided that she needed to be more serious and got her a job as a data processor at the university he worked at. She hated the idea, but wanted to be closer to her brother and sister, so she took the job.| A P P E A R A N C E |
Jac is the kind of girl who wouldn't be caught dead with no makeup on or with her hair a mess. She's not a total priss, but she does take pride in her looks and always tries to dress to impress. When she's out clubbing or bartending, she wears anything to bring attention to herself, so her closet consists of lots of shiny clothes. (She still hasn't quite mastered the dress for data processing, but she's planning on asking Drake about that one soon.)
