MAJOR LIST
These are all of the majors offered at MMU. Minors can be any of these or any department on the class list, excluding cultural studies. All students must have a major, a concentration within their major, and a minor. Students are not required to declare a minor until senior year [which means that you do not have to pick one instantly]. Majors cannot be changed without re-auditioning, but concentrations can be changed. As can minors, should you decide to declare one. Majors are listed with dark bullets, concentrations with hollow ones.
The credit hours next to the major indicate how many classes you'll need to take to fulfill the degree requirements. If you have any questions about how this works, feel free to contact an admin. :]
Minors cannot be in the same category as your major. For instance, you cannot major in Creative Writing and minor in Journalism. Your diploma will only say "writing," so there is no point. To have a minor in another art, you must audition. MMU offers a wide selection of minors, however, and so it is better to choose from those.
