The reaction that he got when Emily looked into the room was definitely enough to bring a grin to Tyson's face. He loved when he was able to make people happy and clearly, showing Emily the studio was exactly what it took to impress her. He didn't know enough about the place to know if it was something special for the dancers or anything, but he was pretty sure that it was at least good enough. Leaning up against the wall, Ty let Emily take it all in, a rather smug grin on his face. He liked to think that her amazement was all his doing and that at least a portion of it was directed towards him. Since, you know, obviously he was totally better to look at than the silly dance studio, even if she was a dancer.
At her question, Tyson shook his head vigorously. He definitely didn't mind at all. In fact, he was quite looking forward to the idea of watching her dance. He obviously hadn't yet had the opportunity to see what the new freshmen could do, so this was clearly something that had to happen. To be honest, he was a tad surprised that she was willing to just dance in front of him. She seemed so shy in everything else that she'd done, but she definitely didn't act shy when she was out there dancing on the floor. For a moment, he was quite entranced by it all and simply stood there watching. However, he quickly decided that he wanted to join in and pushed himself off the wall to walk over to where Emily was dancing.
Now, Tyson had no formal dance training at all and it was painfully obvious every time he attempted to dance. However, that had never stopped him from trying to "bust a move" before. Sliding across the floor, Tyson held a hand out to Emily with a grin as he started to shake back and forth. "C'mon, I can dance too," he said with a grin as he started to flail about some more. It looked more like he had ants in his pants or something than it did like dancing, but that was just Ty. He was the kind of guy that was perfectly happy to look like a complete and utter fool, since at least he was having fun doing it. Waiting for Emily to take his hand, Ty started to circle his hips about, channeling some Shakira as he did so. He looked nothing at all like Shakira.

Emily had to laugh at Ty's attempt. Normally she grew a bit irritated when someone interrupted her dancing, but he looked so cute and goofy wiggling his hips. She took his hand without a second thought, waiting for him to move. "For a beginner you've got great rhythm," she laughed, matching his movement.
She lifted his hand and spun herself, dancing around him and waiting for him to catch up. "Maybe you should switch your major," she teased, doing another pirouette. "I'm sure they could use more males in classes for partnering. You'd be good at swing dancing." Granted, Emily had only taken one ballroom class in her entire life, but she knew that was one more than Ty had taken and she therefore felt she was the expert. And, unnaturally for her, she was not glancing at the door hoping that the other students were not judging her. She barely noticed anything else at all. Dancing was therapeutic like that for Emily.
